Re-launch of comes with PR push

Four years after its debut,, the North Carolina city’s first bilingual directory, went through a re-launch, accompanied by a PR push starting January 16. “We re-launched the Web site with different services and greater outreach to the community,” said Rafael Rodriguez, the director of The site will now offer a directory with businesses and events in Charlotte, and will work to target all Spanish-speaking residents, not just those new to the area.

The internal PR team is reaching out to local Hispanic media, including the Que Pasa Media group; as well as publications like the Charlotte Observer and Charlotte Magazine. is also on Facebook and is working with Hispanic associations for local events, including festivals.
