Freebies with Dunkin’ and Mickey-Ds
Today is busy for anyone looking to get free samples at major chains. Dunkin’ Donuts is offering a free 16-oz. Iced Coffee from 10am to 10pm, while McDonald’s is giving out samples of its new Southern Style Chicken Biscuit from 7am to 10:30am, and samples of the Southern Style Chicken Sandwich after breakfast hours until 7pm (with the purchase of a medium or large beverage).
Dunkin’ Donuts spread the word via a , where users could invite their friends to meet them at Dunkin’ Donuts. More than 132,000 Facebook users have confirmed that they will attend Free Iced Coffee Day, which will encourage customers to try the Berry Berry Iced Coffee. But Dunkin’ Donuts isn’t just giving away coffee, it is also donating $80,000 to the National Police Athletic League’s Youth Leadership Program.
McDonald’s also used its Web site to introduce the new items and to inform visitors of sample day. Additionally, the campaign encourages customers to visit the WhatCameFirst.com Web site, where visitors can vote on the chicken versus egg debate.
