Today’s Washington Post features a striking — and sad — photo on its front page of a 2-year-old Iraqi boy being pulled from a bombed-out home in Sadr City, Baghdad. The boy died at a hospital, according to the caption.

Interesting to see what reader reaction there may be. Disapproval over a picture that might upset children? Gratitude that a less “sanitized” image of war is shown, given the reportedly constant effort by the Pentagon to keep the media from taking or running photos even of burials at Arlington National Cemetery?
