The PR community awoke this morning a little tired and, hopefully, happy about the work rewarded last night at our 2008 PRWeek Awards. GolinHarris and Nintendo took home the Campaign of the Year Award, rbb Public Relations took home the Agency of the Year Award, and Edelman took home the Large Agency of the Year Award. You can see all of our write-ups here.
What pleased me most about the Awards (and the post-Awards celebration) was that winners, honorable mentions, finalists, and those just enjoying the show mingled, traded secrets, and wished each other well. Those finalists who expected to win, but didn’t - at least in my conversations - vowed to take what they learned this year and improve upon it in 2009.
